The Start
I breathed just a little more today.
I braved myself and made quick steps to the designated destination.
I emerged from my shell, interacting with others.
I smiled. I laughed.
I breathed. To live again.
And I did.
I Caved In
How is my motivation to stay consistent and to stay positive so short-lived? How do others do it? To stay motivated in what they do, especially in their career? Frankly, I was super excited to start work a week ago. I was looking forward to work together with a new team, excited to decorate my own classroom and to dive in a totally unknown area but Friday came and... The flame just died. Not even thinking of payday can motivate me to head to work. The impending doom of having to manage more than a class, teach another language and possibly handle the administrative work of another teacher irk me to the very end. This is not what I signed up for.
